Now You See Us: Women artists in Britain 1520-1920

This showcase, featuring over 260 photographs, chronicles Muholi's career as a visual activist, particularly in documenting South Africa's Black LGBTQIA+ communities. Their series, such as 'Only Half the Picture' and 'Faces and Phases,' confront the ongoing violence and prejudice faced by the LGBTQIA+ community. Additionally, works like 'Brave Beauties' and 'Being' challenge stereotypes while the ongoing series 'Somnyama Ngonyama' explores themes of labour, racism, and sexual politics.
