Steeped in elegance and tradition, this distinguished hotel stands as a timeless icon within London's esteemed Mayfair district, tracing its origins back to a bygone era of grandeur and refinement. Throughout the decades, the three houses that make up The Chesterfield Mayfair have played host to royalty, celebrities, and esteemed guests from around the world, each leaving their indelible mark on its storied halls.
Red Carnation’s first hotel, located in the heart of Mayfair, is quintessentially British and exudes classic charm and unique personality. Renowned for the best Dover sole in London, themed Afternoon Teas, classic cocktails and gin tasting experiences, we are ideally located, moments from Bond Street, Piccadilly and the Royal Parks.
We are honoured that our guests choose to stay with us again and again. Every one of our team offers remarkably considerate service and discrete attention to detail.
Led by General Manager Adam Lake, with over 25 years of service, our team is made up of a family of passionate people, with each staff member being committed to giving their very best.

"Welcome to The Chesterfield Mayfair, where it has been my honour to lead the team as General Manager for the past seven years. I believe that Mayfair is a village within our great city of London, and the spirit of local community cannot be matched elsewhere in the capital.
We are surrounded by some of the most famous streets in London, including Oxford Street, Park Lane and Bond Street. We have many green spaces on our doorstep, from Berkeley Square to Green Park, and we are spoiled for choice with the many restaurants and bars around us – from high-end to hidden gems and traditional pubs.
We are proud of the exceptional experiences we have carefully curated over the years. Our whimsical Sweetshop Afternoon Tea is a treat for adults and children alike, while our Terrace Bar is the heart of the hotel, filled with live music every evening.
As a team, we have worked hard to remove single-use plastics, reduce food waste, and focus on renewable energy sources. Each year, our team members take two paid volunteer days supporting local charities such as The Springboard Charity and Action Against Hunger.
We are a passionate and dedicated team who are committed to delivering the very best experience for our guests. I am proud to have worked for The Red Carnation Hotel Collection for the past 15 years, and I look forward to welcoming many more guests to our beautiful hotel in the future."
